Do you meditate?
I know, when you hear this sentence some people get frustrated and sometimes upset with themselves because some think they are not able to or they do not have time. I am here to tell you that you can and that you do have the time. It is really important especially at this time of the year to make time. If you do not do it, then you are telling yourself you are not worthy of your own time. We seem to make the time for everyone else and their needs, why do we not see that we are just as important if not more? As we are getting close to the end of the year and preparing for the new, it is important to take this time to "cleanse and meditate" for OURSELVES. Imagine that...... doing something for yourself. This is where clarity can come from. Take the time to do this for yourself.
OK I am always asked how do you meditate.....
Well you do not have to sit in a Buddha position and do omms.
First - Meditation is first finding a spot of comfort. Some people find comfort in walking, running, relaxing and so on. This is all fine and great. What ever works for you is PERFECT.
Now, I also know some of you will say "I can not clear my mind". That is OK and it takes practice. I for one in the beginning had so much going on in my mind that I felt I could not meditate or ever be able to clear my mind. So if you have a "busy mind" you need to find a guided meditation. Listen to samples on Amazon or someplace else. If it sounds soothing to you then that is what you need. OK, now you found the perfect meditation music or guided meditation and have found your perfect form or place to meditate. While trying to meditate, your mind my wonder and that is OK it happens but do not give up. You did not learn how to walk in one day. When you realize your mind wonders off acknowledge it and bring yourself back to meditation. Eventually your mind will not wonder. I actually meditate at least 2 hours a day now. I meditate before each client and I also meditate for myself in the morning and evening. This is where you can get guidance and clarity for your life. You my also be able to connect with your loved ones that have passed on.
Some people will also say "I use to meditate but haven't in some time". It doesn't mean you can't start again. You are worth your own time, you just have to see it. You will see how rewarding meditation can be. Are you worthy? Then go do it!!!
